How to increase impressions without doing more advertising?
A lot of people wonder if Etsy advertising will bring results of increased sales. I can tell you there is no such guarantee. I have made some other videos to cover my past experiments.
However, there are ways to make advertising work better. Here is a trick that anyone can use.
Before I discuss this, let’s talk about the terms of impression and clicks. When your product is visually presented to the Etsy shop visitor, it is one impression. If the visitor clicks on it to view details, it is one click. The impression to conversion ratio is something on the order of 200 impressions to one click, and 10 clicks to one sale.
So, would Etsy advertisements help you increase the impression? that is the key point you should ask yourself.
Let me enter the keyword of “magnifier” into the search box. On the first page, both listings under Etsy ads and under natural search will show up. You see that some products will show up twice. However, the Etsy algorithm makes sure no one dominates and sponsors advertisement slots on each page. No matter how much Etsy ad budget you authorize, each page will only display one advertised product from your store.

Most importantly, Etsy made sure that a single product from a given store is only shown in the search result ONLY ONCE. Please remember this. This is important.
A success strategy for now is to duplicate your listings. If you have one product but list it five times in your Etsy store, then you are making good use of the natural search results displayed. Of course, you list the same product under different headings. The cost is very low, but you will increase organic impression tremendously.
