The objective of this assignment is to show how social media marketing can be used to create better value for customers.
In the video, we evaluated Boost Juice’s existing social media marketing efforts. We then proceeded to classify the social media platforms according to the Tuten & Solomon (2018) model on how different social media platforms serve different purposes, as well as the social presence and self-presentation according to the Kaplan & Haenlein (2010) model. Finally, we gave suggestions with context on how Boost Juice can better create value with social media. Based on the obvious social media trends and usage patterns discovered through secondary research, we explained how they can utilise the functions of the Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Messenger, coupled with examples; making it a one stop platform as a social community, publishing and commerce. As broadcasting live is also rising to popularity, we also gave examples of how Boost Juice can integrate their video content with social media broadcast to further value add.
