Threads is a new app from instagram for text based conversations.
This is Instagram direct competitor to Twitter. With Threads, you can follow other users, post updates and follow public conversations.
Threads will show you post from people you follow as well as recommended posts.
You can get Threads directly on the Instagram app or the App Store. It’s available for iPhone and Android.
With threads, you can import your information from Instagram including your username and bio description.
You can also choose to create a public or private account.
Threads from Instagram is text based, but you can also share photos and videos. Your text based threads can be 500 characters long.
You can also mention people using the @, when composing a thread.
